Now, for the first time in almost 12 years, a new HPE drive carrier has been released. Customers will now have to ensure that the HPE hard drive or SSD they are ordering is compatible with their HPE server. The newly released Basic Carrier (BC) drives are only compatible with a select number of "Model X" Gen10 servers, and all Gen10 Plus and Gen11 HPE servers. Smart Carrier (SC) drives will not work in Gen10 Plus and Gen11 servers!    Join Andrew Stewart and Josh Monina as they simplify the technical jargon of this new change and how it will impact customers.  ![B2X Global](https://blog.b2xglobal.com/hubfs/B2X%20avatar.jpeg) ### B2X Global ###### DISTRIBUTION REIMAGINED At B2X Global, we believe in the power of perception.
