As you may know, most HPE servers are manufactured in Mexico and subsequently imported to the United States. With that being said, there is undoubtedly a cost increase coming. Our partners count on us to combat common industry issues like this one so we have developed a plan in conjunction with HPE.
Official Policy on U.S. Tariffs
First and foremost - the stock in our warehouse + the thousands of parts immediately available to us via HPE's various U.S. inventory depots are not affected by the tariffs as the products are already in the country.
For parts that need to be special ordered - HPE has graciously agreed to honor all quotes sent to us within the month. As of today, we will officially be marking the end of the month as the expiration date on all quotes. We encourage our partners to ask us for pricing early in the month so we can lock in rates that you can confidently pass onto your customers without fear of price fluctuation.
We are aware that traditional distributors have provided volatile and inconsistent responses to the newly imposed tariffs so we hope to provide you with another avenue to do right by your customers. As always, fluid communication with us is key. We work very closely with the HPE global planning and pricing team and can influence certain deals if we have insight/feedback from you.
